Into Wulong
Scenic drive to the Wulong Karst. Three Natural Bridges: colossal limestone arches and the canyon film-set of Transformers: Age of Extinction and Zhang Yimou's Curse of the Golden Flower, then the cool meadows and alpine air of Fairy Mountain grassland. Overnight in Wulong.
Jiuli City & the Wujiang Gallery
Morning at Chiyou Jiuli City in Pengshui — a vast citadel of stacked Miao pavilions — then a boat cruise through the emerald gorge of the Wujiang Gallery. Return to Chongqing by evening.
