Privacy Policy | Anjia Chongqing · How We Handle Your Data
Privacy

Your privacy, in plain language

When you plan a private Chongqing journey with us, you trust us with a little personal information. This page explains, without legal jargon, exactly what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The short version: we only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and plan your trip, we never sell your data, and this website never collects your card or payment details.

Who we are

Anjia is an inbound travel brand for high-end private journeys through Chongqing and the southwest of China, operated by Chongqing Anjia International Travel Agency Co., Ltd. (China tourism operating licence L-CQ-100787), in partnership with China Fantasy Travel. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “Anjia” mean that company, and “the site” means anjiatravel.com. We are the party responsible for the personal information described here.

The short version

  • We collect only what we need to reply to your enquiry and design your trip.
  • This website never asks for or stores your card or bank details.
  • We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to understand and improve our site.
  • We never sell your personal information to anyone.
  • You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information at any time.

What information we collect

Information you give us. When you send an enquiry through our contact form, WhatsApp or email, you may share your name, WhatsApp or phone number, email address (optional), preferred travel dates, group size, budget range, and anything you tell us in your message — for example hotel preferences, dietary needs, whether you are travelling with children or seniors, and which places interest you. You give us this information voluntarily so we can help plan your trip.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit we automatically receive technical data such as your approximate location (from your IP address), device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. This comes through the analytics and advertising tools described below and helps us keep the site working and improve it.

What we do not collect here. This website does not collect payment card numbers, bank account details or passwords. Trip deposits are paid separately to our registered company account, and we will never ask for your card number through the website, chat or email. You can read how payment works on our payment & cancellation page.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and send you a written trip proposal and quote.
  • To plan, book and deliver your private tour if you decide to travel with us.
  • To communicate with you before, during and after your trip, including support while you are in China.
  • To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it and our services.
  • To meet our legal, accounting and tourism-licensing obligations.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential for the site to work. Others help us measure traffic and reach the right travellers with our marketing:

  • Google Analytics 4. Measures anonymous, aggregated visits — which pages are popular, how people find us and on what devices — so we can improve the site.
  • Meta (Facebook) pixel. Helps us understand whether our Facebook and Instagram ads reach interested travellers, and lets us show relevant ads to people like our past visitors.
  • WhatsApp. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled inside WhatsApp under Meta’s own privacy terms.

You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account. Blocking cookies will not stop you from browsing the site or contacting us.

When we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share it only in these limited situations:

  • Trusted service providers. Our contact form is delivered to us securely by a form-delivery service (Web3Forms), and our site relies on the analytics and advertising tools named above. These providers process data only to perform their service for us.
  • To deliver a trip you have booked. If you go ahead, we share only the details needed with the guides, drivers, hotels and attractions on your itinerary, and with our partner China Fantasy Travel, so your trip can be arranged.
  • When the law requires it. We may disclose information if required by a valid legal request or to meet our obligations as a licensed Chinese travel agency.

Where your information is processed

Anjia operates from China, so the information you send us is processed in China, and some of our service providers process data on servers in other countries. Wherever it is handled, we take reasonable steps to protect it and to share it only as described in this policy. By sending us an enquiry from outside China, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in China so that we can respond and plan your trip.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and trip information only for as long as we need it: to answer you, to plan and deliver your trip, and afterwards for a reasonable period to handle follow-up, accounting and any legal requirements. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not legally required to keep it, we will.

Your choices and rights

You are in control of your information. At any time you can ask us to:

  • Show you what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Stop contacting you, or stop using your information for marketing.

Just email us at [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp, and we will act on your request. Depending on where you live, local privacy laws may give you further rights, which we will honour.

How we protect your information

We take sensible measures to keep your information safe, including serving this site over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and limiting access to your details to the people who need it to help you. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to keep our tools up to date.

Children’s privacy

Our site and services are intended for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you travel with children, any details you share about them are provided by you as their parent or guardian, solely so we can plan a safe and suitable trip.

Links to other sites

Our site may link to other websites, such as our partner China Fantasy Travel or booking and review platforms. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our services or the law change. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it occasionally so you always know how your information is handled.

Questions about your privacy?

If you have any question about this policy or the information we hold, we are happy to help. Email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp at +86 189 7441 2915, and a real person will reply.
