- 10 hours: about 4 hours 40 minutes. One route: Liziba, Jiefangbei on foot, Hongya Cave once the lights are on, one meal, back to the airport.
- 24 hours (overnight): evening river cruise or night tour, hotel at Jiefangbei, Ciqikou or the Yangtze Cableway next morning, airport by late morning.

Land, clear immigration and collect bags (about 1 hour). Drive to Liziba to watch the train pass through the building (about 40 minutes). Walk Jiefangbei. What to confirm first
Your passport nationality (this decides whether 240-hour visa-free transit applies), whether your arriving flight is domestic or international, your departure time, and how many bags you have. Send us the flight numbers and we confirm the plan and hold the car.
Landing late at night: getting into the city
All flights at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport now use Terminal 3 (T3). After an international arrival, allow about 1 hour for immigration and bags. So if you land after about 22:00, you will miss the last metro connections into Yuzhong.
- Metro: Line 10 from T3 towards the city (direction Lanhualu). First train 06:30. The last train from T3 leaves at 00:03 on working days and 23:23 on holidays, but to connect into Yuzhong, board at T3 by about 23:00.
- Airport express bus K01: from T3 to Jiefangbei. It runs from 8:30 every morning until 30 minutes after the day's last arriving flight. Once the first passenger is on board, it leaves within 30 minutes. About 65 minutes to Jiefangbei, 15 yuan per person.
- Taxi or ride-hailing: follow the signs from arrivals. Jiefangbei is about 21–25 km away, around 40 minutes without traffic.
Flying out in the middle of the night? A taxi is the most reliable way to the airport. K01 has no fixed times from Jiefangbei back to the airport. For an international flight, be at the airport 3 hours before departure.
